Umar Mohammed Captains U17 Ghana National Team in Gabon

Umar Mohammed, a promising defender on the African Continent has been tasked to lead the Starlets in the African Youth qualification in Gabon at the age of 16.

Umar led the Team to the finals but unfortunately lost to the eventual winners, Nigeria who then went on to qualify for the African Championship.

He had a great tournament scoring one goal against Ivory Coast.
