Is impacting Rising Stars of Africa partner school- Vickmen Primary School and Academy programmes in Ghana, bringing innovative educational tools, resources, and essential funding to support the development of our communities.
Founded with the belief that educators should succeed and students should thrive wherever learning occurs, We Can Learn has consistently pioneered solutions that support both teachers and learners. They believe that learning should know no limits or bounds.
Thank you to our partners, We Can Learn, who were able to come to Ghana, providing a safe place to play, learn, and grow, with essential funding at our local partner school. They hugely improved the outdoor space at the school, with astroturf and play areas, which will greatly benefit the learning and development of the children. More future developments are set to include electricity and computer labs to further support learning.
Throughout their visit, they also got involved with the Rising Stars of Africa basketball community programme, delivering essential life skills sessions to both our basketball and football academy teams. The sessions covered a variety of topics including bravery, self-belief, cultural differences, and gender-based empowerment.
With the support of the Edmentum Foundation, We Can Learn, children now have safe spaces to play and learn, and teachers are better equipped to deliver meaningful education. These efforts have improved engagement, enhanced learning outcomes, and strengthened confidence, shaping brighter futures for students and communities alike. Their involvement and delivery to our football and basketball academy teams leaves young learners motivated, inspired, and with a broader, worldly perspective.
