All of our players are based at the academy on a residential basis, receiving a high-quality education in addition to their sporting development.
Our aim is for students to flourish both academically and in a sporting capacity, providing them with the best possible opportunities to achieve their dreams of a career in the sporting world or successfully engage academically and ultimately in the world of work.
With many of our academy boys coming from a background of extreme poverty and with their families often facing barriers to securing their school attendance, we aim to provide each individual with educational opportunities to overcome such issues and achieve their true academic potential.
Our dedicated school currently has two classrooms with students divided into two classes dependent on their academic abilities, ascertained through aptitude tests following their arrival at the academy.
We currently have two teachers at our school who focus on the core subjects of English, Maths and Science. Through a combination of professional teaching quality, small class sizes and one-to-one tuition, our students are supported to reach their full potential academically. Based upon their hard work and educational excellence, two of our students have been offered full scholarships to colleges in the US (read more about their stories here).
We are always seeking enthusiastic volunteers with a background in education to visit Ghana and support the students through teaching, homework support and one-to-one tuition. Find out more about how you can get involved here.
